The Whitechapel Centre

About this service

The Whitechapel Centre provides support to help people with drug and/or alcohol issues to obtain and sustain suitable independent accommodation along with addressing their substance misuse and mental health issues.

We work closely with local drug and alcohol treatment agencies and mental health providers to support people to engage with services as part of a coherent plan. We provide assistance around a range of issues including budgeting, benefits, health, daily living, social skills and access to education and training. Food, showers, laundry and haircuts are all available. We believe that every individual should be given the opportunity to change their situation and achieve their potential.

If you see a rough sleeper and are concerned for their welfare please contact our Always Help Available service on 0300 123 2041 (available 24 hours).

Donations of food, clothing, and toiletries are appreciated. Visit our website for full list and drop off arrangements.
