About this service

Subwize is a free, friendly and confidential young people’s drug and alcohol service. We work with young people under the age of 21 (with transitional age group of 21-24) who live in Barking and Dagenham or attend schools and colleges in the borough. We are flexible and can meet at a location accessible to you, such as schools, youth clubs or other local venues.

Referral (how to access this service)

Self referral Any professional such as a housing support worker, social worker, GP or nurse can also make a referral on your behalf.

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Also aswell as 1-1 drug and alcohol support We also offer family hidden harm support for those effected by drug and alcohol use within their household and environment, Community hidden harm support which works with young people effected by crime exploitation, peer substance use , peer to peer exploitation, and CSE . Also we have a team of volunteer CBT trained counsellors that offer support to the young person and family members within their household.
