Southmead Project
About this service
The Southmead Project provides free counselling and support for survivors of abuse and addiction of all genders, aged 16 years and above, who live in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and BANES.
They provide long-term counselling for survivors who have experienced recent or historic abuse, including sexual, physical or emotional abuse, domestic violence or neglect, and a Nexus counselling service for survivors of abuse who currently have an addiction to drugs or alcohol. They also hold pre-counselling and post-counselling groups, a Family Support Group, and a community-based Active Recovery Project.

Opening times
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Family Support Group on Wednesdays at 7-9pm for anyone who supports or is affected by someone else's addiction to drugs or alcohol.
