Cranstoun Derby
About this service
Cranstoun Derby is an adult (aged 18+) drug and alcohol treatment service. The service works with all levels of drug and alcohol misuse from legal highs through to cannabis and cocaine, as well as heroin and crack use. Cranstoun Derby also offers a Prescription Only Medication service (POMs) as well as:
- intensive structured 1-to-1 and non-structured interventions
- a mix of high and low intensity levels together with a specialist prescribing programme
- an enhanced needle exchange programme
- 1-to-1 keyworking, care planning and support
- 1-to-1 structured care planned treatment and risk assessment for high risk service users
- specialist health screening, Hepatitis C and HIV testing
- community-based detoxification services
- relapse prevention work alongside prescribing interventions

Referral (how to access this service)
This service accepts referrals for drug and alcohol treatment - via Dropin, the website, telephone, referral form emailed to service. Service users who require drug treatment directly on release from custody are referred via the prison healthcare Team and those who are given a court ordered Drug Rehabilitation Requirement (DRR) or Alcohol Treatment Requiement (ATR) will have appointments arranged by our criminal Justice team alongside preobation.
