The Bridge Project

The Bridge Project is a well-established and vibrant local charity located in the heart of the multi-cultural city of Bradford.

We provide outreach services to people experiencing the effects of deprivation and health inequalities. Our mission is to empower people experiencing multiple barriers to achieve positive change.

Co-development is at the heart of our offer. We provide a responsive personalised service to each person who consents and engages with Bridge services. The service provided is curated with a named navigator worker and is not led by service targets.

Our purpose is to help you decide what you would like to change and to support you in achieving your goals.

Services

We support individuals, families, partners, and communities to improve lives in a sustainable way, recognising that solutions are often multi-faceted and require support to address a range of issues, such as substance misuse, sustaining recovery, homelessness, offending, domestic abuse, sex working, risk-taking behaviours, housing and housing support, physical and/or mental health, and employment.

Approach

Our staff deliver the Navigator Model of Care, that uses a named navigator to deliver continuous one-to-one professional and practical support, treatment, and advocacy. We support people over extended periods, developing trusting relationships.

Outreach - Primarily a Monday to Friday outreach service.
Place based - We also offer a place-based Wellbeing Reconnect Centre located at 35 Salem Street in the heart of Bradford. The Centre provides the people we support within with indoor and outdoor space to meet their worker and use personal hygiene facilities and a small kitchen.
