Ark House aims to enable recovery from alcohol/drug dependence. The service user, with help of structured lectures and groups, will be guided by a therapist through the steps to reach individual goals. To understand their problem,, the solution to the problem and the plan of action to change that leads to abstinence and recovery. Peer group support and structure are also an important component.

PUSH is an independent, inclusive, peer-led service user group - anyone can join. We're not abstinence focussed as we know that sometimes people aren't quite ready to get there yet until they're being supported. We also challenge the stigma and discrimination others in the community may feel towards drug or alcohol users.
