About this service
Turning Point provides a flexible treatment and support service for people over 18, seeking support for drug and/or alcohol use, with a focus on recovery and community reintegration. Our team includes Prescribers, Doctors, Nurses, HCA, Recovery workers, Peer mentors & Volunteers, who will support you throughout your journey.
Services offered include:
- Peer and one to one support
- Recovery-focused substitute prescribing
- Club drug support, steroid support
- Links to local & national mutual aid groups
- 5 Step program support & advice for family & friends
- Recovery workshops
- Shared care support for service users linked to local GP services
- Engagement & Prevention team
- Get Connected team for Recovery support
- blood-borne virus testing
- Needle exchange
- Online treatment options available
- Pathway for detox and Rehab
- Evening appointments for those unable to attend during office hours
- Criminal justice interventions
- Peer mentoring training and volunteer placements within the service
