About this service
Turning Point provides a flexible treatment and support service for people over 18, seeking support for drug and/or alcohol use, with a focus on recovery and community reintegration. Our team includes Prescribers, Doctors, Nurses, HCA, Recovery workers, Peer mentors & Volunteers, who will support you throughout your journey.
Services offered include:
• Recovery-focused substitute prescribing
• Shared care support for service users linked to local GP services
• Pathway for detox and Rehab
• Recovery workshops
• Peer and one to one support
• Telephone support
• Online groups
• Digital treatment pathway.
• Club drug support, steroid support
• 5 Step program support & advice for family & friends
• Criminal justice interventions team
• Engagement & Prevention team
• blood-borne virus testing
• Needle exchange
• Get Connected team for Recovery support
• Links to local & national mutual aid groups
• Evening appointments for those unable to attend during office hours
• Peer mentoring training and volunteer placements within the service
