Talk to Frank - Honest information about drugs

Turning Point - Wakefield Talking Therapies

About this service

Turning Point provides free Talking Therapy services to people aged 16 years or older who are registered with a GP surgery in the Wakefield District. The service is delivered in partnership with NHS Wakefield Clinical Commissioning Group.

At Turning Point Talking Therapies we really like to encourage people to learn how to help themselves when feeling low, stressed or anxious. Providing people with coping strategies they can use themselves will not only solve the problem today, but help prevent new problems from occurring.

To help with this we run free workshops across the district for anyone to attend. They are completely free and there is no pressure to talk or share personal information with the group, just sit back, listen and take away some free resources and materials.
