About this service

SMASH is a service specifically designed to meet the substance misuse needs of the young people (aged 10 - 18) of Sefton. They are a multi-disciplinary team who support and educate young people with substance misuse and other issues and other issues affecting their wellbeing.

The SMASH service work in close partnership with other young people with substance misuse needs, support and access to:

  • drug education
  • drug treatments (brief interventions)
  • mental health support
  • harm reduction strategies
  • complimentary therapies
  • health care

Young people can access the service by themselves by calling the number below or can request that any other professional they are involved with send a referral.
