About this service

The centre provides a specialist, free and confidential service to clients over the age of 18, who use/misuse substances including drugs, alcohol and steroids.

The service offers:

  • Open access needle exchange
  • Discreet mobile needle exchange
  • Pharmacy needle exchange information
  • Advice and support including safer injecting advice and overdose awareness
  • Health screenings conducted by the harm reduction nurse on site - including blood testing for liver and kidney function
  • Finger prick testing for Hepatitis B, C & HIV
  • Preventative vaccinations for Hepatitis A & B
  • Sexual Health screenings and advice
  • C Card
  • Advice and support around housing and benefits
