About this service
CGL is open to all (aged 25+) affected by drugs and alcohol across West Sussex.
Service offers:
- Tailored support to all adults aged over 25, whatever the level of use
- A safe place for people to come and feel safe to explore issues relating to their substance use
- One-to-one support
- Practical harm reduction advice and information
- A ‘drop-in’ service so people can access us easily
- Same-day assessments
- Helpful tips around knowing your ‘triggers’, and how to manage potentially difficult situations
- Medical support if you need it, from our team of Nurses and Doctors
- Referrals into other local services
- Support for family members and friendship networks
- BBV testing and Hepatitis B vaccination
- Needle and Syringe Programme
- Health and well-being checks
- Holistic support through workshops, counselling, key-work sessions, ‘pods’ & groups
