CGL - Camden Community Drug Service

About this service

CGL provides a flexible and confidential treatment and support service for adults with substance misuse issues that live in Camden. We aim to support people to reduce their substance misuse to minimise the harmful effects of drug misuse and work towards a drug free lifestyle.

Services provided include:

  • Open access advice and information
  • Assessment and referral
  • One-to-one support (psychosocial interventions)
  • Harm minimisation
  • Group work (including a stimulant group, cannabis group and relapse prevention group)
  • Complementary therapies
  • Information and support for carers, friends and families of those who are drug dependant
  • Counselling
  • Street outreach

We also deliver structured drug treatment. At the start of this process a full assessment of your situation and needs will be carried out to ensure you receive the best possible support, this may include a referral to other appropriate services. A plan will be agreed with you as to the most effective treatment that can be provided.
