Greystones delivers an outreach service for reported cases of rough sleeping and a day service for Tameside residents who are currently homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Drop in service offers laundry and shower facilities, hot food and advice. Day programme offers workshops on reducing alcohol/drug use, health, assertiveness and computer skills.

Also runs an accommodation project at two different locations; one where alcohol is allowed so that residents can safely reduce and another where alcohol is not allowed to facilitate abstinence. Drop-in or call for more details.

ResoLUTiONs is a free and confidential drug and alcohol service for adults, young people and families in Luton. Anybody can be affected by drug and/or alcohol use, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, beliefs, class, age, sexuality, disability or lifestyle. We believe that everyone has the ability to change.

If you have concerns about drugs and alcohol we can help. We have two main hubs across Luton, however we work from a range of other locations such as pharmacies and community centres. We work in partnership with: NOAH, KIKIT, Luton LGBT Links, Intuitive Thinking Skills, Luton GOAL and Stepping Stones.

We provide:

ASCA is an established charity offering low-cost, confidential, 1-to-1 counselling and advice in Richmond and Kingston. We do not charge fees but ask for an appropriate weekly donation from our service users, this ensures people have access to our service whatever their financial circumstance.

Aquarius participates in the SMART recovery programme. We offer support and activities for people in drug, alcohol or gambling recovery at our premises in Northampton. Group meetings and relaxation services available. Counselling is available for those affected by gambling. Please note, we ask that people attending refrain from using alcohol and drugs for 24 hours prior to attendance.

The Nehemiah Project is a registered Christian-based charity that works in South London with men recovering from drug and alcohol addictions. The programme is open to all, regardless of faith, who want to change their lives.

Offers supported housing can can provide men with practical and emotional support, giving them an increased chance of staying free from drugs and crime. Men initially need help to manage day-to-day practical issues, while at the same time, coping with staying off drugs.

Remember the people at these organisations are professionally trained and must keep everything you say confidential.
