Tower Hamlets adults health and wellbeing service can organise a range of rehabilitation programmes for people who are dependent on drugs and want to stop.

To be eligible, you must live in Tower Hamlets. You can apply if you are in need of support and help because of your dependency on drugs and have been suffering a significant and enduring disability.

Programmes that we can arrange include treatment, support and counselling. We have a team that works specifically with people who have drug problems. We also liaise with local health services and organisations in the voluntary sector.

The Abstinence-Based Treatment Service provides non-residential structured day care for North Tyneside residents (aged 18+) wishing to become abstinent from all mind altering substances, including drugs and alcohol. With a 12 Step basis, this programme offers twelve weeks of facilitated mutual aid, counselling, group work and workshops with recovery from addiction as its core ethos. Individuals accessing the service can access up to twelve months of continuing care after graduation in order to help sustain their recovery in the community and offering access opportunities to employment, volunteering and peer mentoring.

CGL Step Forward is a single, integrated drug and alcohol recovery service for all adults in North Lincolnshire. If you or someone you know is concerned about drugs and/or alcohol, we can support you to get the help needed. Recovery starts at the moment you get in touch and we’re here with you every step of the way.

Service offers:
• A confidential and non judgemental service with a warm welcome
• Open access to advice, information and full recovery assessment
• Harm minimisation advice and needle exchange
• Structured treatment interventions including groups and counselling
• Rapid access to prescription and pathways into detox
• A recovery programme for all
• Support with related issues such as housing and employment

• Access to Peer Mentors to support you through your recovery journey
• Opportunities to become a Volunteer or Peer Mentor

Inclusion provide services that include advice, information, harm reduction interventions and recovery planning in conjunction with a range of pharmacological, psychosocial and structured treatment programs.
We work with specific needs including criminal justice, mother and baby and dual diagnosis. Needle exchange is operational during opening hours.

The Counselling and Family Centre is a charity that has been at the heart of the community for over 40 years. We are there “For Whatever Life Throws at You’. From the age of 5 up through the teens and into adulthood and on through maturity we will be there for you whatever the problem.

We have over 30 male and female counsellors across a range of ages and life experiences. This means we can help you whatever your gender, ethnicity, sexuality or age (above 5 years old).

Supports family members of those misusing substances through one to one counselling or groups. Also offers a community café in Stamford Park to fund the Counselling Centre's activities.

Remember the people at these organisations are professionally trained and must keep everything you say confidential.
