This is a list of services in your local area, along with some national agencies you can contact no matter where you live. Some of the services listed below may not be available to everyone. They might be specific to a certain age group, or require a referral from GP or health professional.
We recommend you ring ahead first, to see if it's the most suitable choice.

Hebron House is a safe, nurturing and intensively supportive community environment in which to rehabilitate from drug and alcohol dependency and the life-dominating problems that serious substance misuse can cause.
As a resident you will remove yourself from your immediate environment and join up to nine other women aged 18+ who share the common goal of recovery. By leaving home you will break free from old contacts and by joining a sheltered community you will be able to focus fully on your recovery without distraction.

The Recovery & Wellbeing Service provides support around drug and alcohol issues, including specialist support such as one to one key work sessions, counselling and group work. Also support people concerned about someone else's drug or alcohol issues.
Services include:
• Advice and information for those affected by drug and/or alcohol misuse issues
• One to one and intensive support
• Brief interventions and low intensity support
• Substitute prescribing
• Counselling
• Group work
• Access to detox and residential rehab
• Well being (shiatsu, acupuncture, gym sessions, homeopathy, relaxation)
• Home visits & sessions in the community & GP surgeries
• Support in to education, training or employment opportunities
• Specialist support for families & carers, clients over 60 and under 25 and LGBT clients

Thirteen's Residential Service is an 8-bed dry residential rehabilitation facility for men and women experiencing alcohol problems in the Durham area. It provides assessment, counselling and support to residents.

The East Kent Community Drug and Alcohol Service is a partnership between Rapt, Rethink and Nacro. We help people who have problems with drugs and alcohol and are based in East Kent – no matter what substance or substances they use – and want support to make positive changes. Our service is delivered from five Hubs based around East Kent. Each Hub offers a service tailored to the needs of the local community - for more information, please see our website.
