My son has just come out of prison, went in with addictions to alcohol and cannabis which changed his personality greatly and made his behavior violent and aggressive. Has come out addicted to heroin, how's that work? I know we can never clean the prison of all drugs but my son is a bit of a 'mummy's boy' certainly not one of the hard men, how would he get hold of drugs. He also had 3 fits whilst in prison they suggested he has a brain scan once out but did nothing about it while he was there. I assumed my son was fairly safe, i do know things go on but on the whole he had a bed and 3 meals a day (well 2) as they no longer serve breakfast and i believed at this time in his life it might be the best place for him. I am now faced with a son who has more problems and says the right things but does not seem all that serious about getting any help to me. He also seems to have a lot less morals and a awful lot more idea on taking drugs and how to obtain them. He seems to have very little empathy for his family or anyone else. As usual as a mother i am left to pick up the pieces or more likely destroy my marriage and relationships with the rest of my family, but what do I do watch him kill himself without trying to do all in my power to stop it???
