What is 2CB?

You may have heard about 2CB, sometimes known as tripstacy, in the news this weekend. But what is it? And what effect does it have on you?

2CB is an illegal drug which acts like a cross between ecstasy and LSD, producing hallucinations and an energy buzz in many that take it.

It can give users feelings of alertness, of being alive and of being in tune with surroundings, like ecstasy, particularly when taken at lower doses. However, it can also lead to headaches and nausea, and at high doses, more serious confused, agitated or even delirious states.

It’s relatively new in the UK so the long term effects are not yet fully known. However, there have been cases of associated neurological damage and fatal overdose.

2CB is a Class A drug which means that it's illegal to have for yourself, give away or sell.
